Porsha Dyanne Williams (born June 22, 1981) is an American television receiver personality, extra, and author. Williams starred on the television series The Real Housewives of Atlanta from 2012 until 2021, when she departed to star in her spin-off series, Porsha's Family Matters, currently in its first season. She has been host of Dish Nation since its 2d season in 2013.[1] In 2021, Williams published her memoir The Pursuit of Porsha.

Early life and educational activity [edit]

Williams was born in Atlanta, Georgia on June 22, 1981.[2] Her parents are cocky-employed entrepreneurs.[3] She has a younger half sister named Lauren whom they share a father; and, a brother named Hosea.[4] Her granddaddy is the late Hosea Williams, a civil rights activist.[five] She attended Southwest Dekalb High School in Decatur, Georgia equally a teenager,[half-dozen] and after pursued a degree in business organization data technology at the American InterContinental Academy.[ commendation needed ]

In 2005, when she was 24 years old, Williams opened a daycare facility, revealing that she was inspired by her parents' careers. Williams departed the Real Housewives of Atlanta after its thirteenth flavour in 2021 to star in Porsha's Family Matters, a spin-off serial currently in its first season.
